Hero Vida’s New Budget Electric Scooters Are Coming This July – Here’s What to Expect!

The buzz in the EV world just got louder! Hero MotoCorp, one of India’s most trusted two-wheeler brands, is all set to supercharge the electric scooter market. The company has officially announced the launch of two new Hero Vida electric scooters coming this July 2025 — and guess what? They’ll be more affordable than ever.

What’s the Big Deal?

You’ve probably heard of the Hero Vida V2 series — currently available in three variants: V2 Lite, V2 Plus, and V2 Pro, priced between Rs 74,000 and Rs 1.15 lakh (ex-showroom). While these models have had a decent run, they’re still behind giants like Ola Electric and TVS iQube.

But Hero has a game-changing plan in place: the new scooters will be built on a low-cost platform called ACPD, designed to bring EV prices closer to those of regular petrol scooters. That’s huge news for budget-conscious buyers looking to go electric without burning a hole in their pockets.

More Scooters, More Reach

Hero is already producing around 7,000 electric scooters a month, and with these new launches, production could go up to 15,000 units monthly. To keep up with demand, the company is also rapidly expanding its dealership network. Right now, Vida scooters are available at 203 touchpoints in 116 cities, and that number is only going to grow.

The Numbers Speak for Themselves

Hero’s electric journey has picked up serious momentum. In FY2025, the company sold 48,673 electric scooters, a whopping 175% growth from FY2024, when the number stood at just 17,720 units. That’s no small feat!

What’s Next?

While Hero hasn’t revealed all the details just yet, expectations are high. The two upcoming models could revolutionize the entry-level EV space by offering solid features, trusted Hero reliability, and a much more affordable price tag.

If you’ve been thinking about switching to an electric scooter, this July might be the perfect time. Hero’s new Vida launches promise to bring great performance, better pricing, and easier accessibility — all backed by a brand that’s been part of India’s roads for decades.

Stay tuned for more updates as we get closer to the official launch!
