Nvidia to Build AI Supercomputers in U.S. Amid Tariff Threats, Security Scrutiny

Chip Major Nvidia said that it would create a perfectly artificial intelligence (AI) super computer in the United States, President Donald Trump said he would soon impose tariffs on semiconductor imported from somewhere else. "With the top manufacturing partners, the company has commissioned more than a million square feet of production space to create and examine the Nvidia Blackwell Chips and Texas in Arizona," the company said in a press statement.


Its Blackwell Chips has started producing the Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC) at Phoenix Plant, Nvidia says it is producing a manufacturing plant on Super Computer in Texas with Foxconn and Wistron in Houston. Mass production in both plants is expected to increase the ramp within the next 12-15 months.
